Les participant(e)s ont aussi relev\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;expos\u00e9 de Mr Ohtomo le niveau de technicit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 des activit\u00e9s agricoles au Japon, permettant une exploitation optimale des ressources naturelles limit\u00e9es concili\u00e9e \u00e0\u00a0un minutieux respect de l&rsquo;environnement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 de la conf\u00e9rence :\u00a0<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0Agriculture today in Japan and the future of the Japanese farmers\u201d introduces general overview of the Japanese agriculture and its uniqueness, particularly in mechanization point of view. There is only 4~5 million ha of arable land available in Japan and average farming size per farmer is only 2 ha, but highly mechanized due to its high labor cost and aging society. \u201cLabor saving\u201d is the key word for agriculture practice in Japan. Granule pesticides, shaker bottles, transplanting machines, rice seedling box application, and jumbo formulations with self-dispersible granules. The use of radio-controlled helicopters (RCH) is an ultimate labor saving for such small fields, but there is another factor to push the technology.
